Felix was born in 1986. In 2010 he graduated and started his own studio ‘Feixen’. In the summer of 2011 he was appointed as teacher at the Lucerne School of Graphic Design to teach in the fields of typography, narrative design, and poster design.

Mathis was born in 1983. In 2009 he graduated from his studies at University of Applied Sciences and Art in Lucerne and HAW Hamburg. During his studies he co-published the comic magazine ‘blutt’ and organized several installative exhibitions at comic festivals around europe. In 2010 he founded the off-space "Detektiv Bureau" together with Nadine Gerber, Daniel Peter and Christoph Barmettler. Later on Nadine and Mathis started to work as an artist duo under the same name. As ‘Detektiv Bureau’ they realize conceptual or performative works, and had the luck to enjoy a residency in Chicago and a travel grant through the Balkan Region. Parallel to his art practice Mathis works as graphic designer and designed several books with Markus Dreßen and other people around Spector Books, Leipzig. Currently Mathis lives and works in Zurich.
